The Estonian medicinal products market, third quarter of 2007
The Estonian human medicinal products market was 604 million Estonian kroons (EEK) in the third quarter of 2007 (in wholesaler prices). This includes both, prescription medicines and OTCs. The market increase was 15% in comparison to the same period in year 2006.
The increase in the third quarter of 2002/2003 was 5%, in 2003/2004 respectively 15,8%, in 2004/2005 respectively 8,2% and 2005/2006 9%.
In addition to human medicinal products market the State Agency of Medicines compiles statistical reports about veterinary medicinal products market.
The Estonian veterinary medicinal products market was 29,4 million Estonian kroons (EEK) in the third quarter of 2007 (in wholesaler prices). The market increase was 11,9% in comparison to the same period in year 2006.
