Total sale of medicinal products in 2007
The Estonian human medicinal products market was 2.666 billion Estonian kroons (EEK) in 2007 (in wholesaler prices). This includes both, prescription medicines and OTCs. The market increase was 17,9% in comparison to the year 2006.
The increase in 2003/2004 was 20,4%, in 2004/2005 respectively 4,8% and 2005/2006 respectively 12,7%.
In addition to human medicinal products market the State Agency of Medicines compiles statistical reports about veterinary medicinal products market.
The Estonian veterinary medicinal products market was 119,1 million Estonian kroons (EEK) in 2007 (in wholesaler prices). The market increase was 3,5% in comparison to the year 2006.
