Total sale of medicinal products in 2008

The Estonian human medicinal products market was 2,922 billion Estonian kroons (EEK) in 2008 (in wholesale prices). This includes both, prescription medicines and OTCs. The market increase was 9,6% in comparison to the year 2007.

The increase in 2004/2005 was 4,8%, in 2005/2006 respectively 12,7% and 2006/2007 respectively 17,9%.

The Estonian veterinary medicinal products market was 136,3 million Estonian kroons (EEK) in 2008 (in wholesaler prices). The market increase was 14,5% in comparison to the year 2007. The increase in 2006/2007 was 3,4%.
