Changes in classification of medicinal products (terbinafine)
According to the decision of the State Agency of Medicines topical terbinafin preparations with maximum concentration of 1% and with the package size 15 g or 15 ml will be switched from the list of prescription only medicines to OTC medicines as of October 1, 2004.
The decision concerns the following preparations authorised in Estonia:
GEDEON RICHTER Ltd. TERBISIL 1% KREEM cream 1% 15g Novartis Finland OY LAMISIL cream 1% 7,5 g, 15 g Novartis Finland OY LAMISIL cutaneous spray, solution1% 15 ml Novartis Finland OY LAMISIL DERMGEL gel 1% 5g; 15g
The indication for the above preparations is: Tinea pedis
